What can the poor afford to pay?

Who will treat the poor?

May keep a retinue of body guards

Who will keep watch over the poor?

May import their clothes and everything else

Who will clothe the poor?

May uphold family-friendly policies in their enterprise

Who will protect poor households?

May read, write, and speak truth wherever possible

Who is listening to what the poor has to say?

May build mansions in choice locations

Where can the poor lay their weary heads?

Let us fix Nigeria for the poor

May switch on their ultra-silent power generators

Who assures the poor of clean, uninterrupted, renewable, and affordable energy?

Let us fix Nigeria for the poor 


The rich

May have their cliques, clubs, chattels, and whatever counts

Who will give the poor a sense of belonging?

Let us fix Nigeria for the poor 


The minority

May wield economic, political, and social power

What willpower must the majority wield?

Let us fix Nigeria for the majority and the minority

No one must be left behind!
