Rebuild Faulty Foundations!

The human society was built on the foundations of justice.

What can we do when the foundations are destroyed?

For how long can society last, without tottering to collapse, with unjust judges?

Can safety be sustained when all the foundations are as unstable and moveable as water?

Can unstable and defiled souls prosper?

What can we do when our judges show partiality to the wicked?

Who will do justice to the afflicted and needy?

The appointed judges of the land have become mighty in their own eyes.

They have ceased being little in their own estimation.

They have eaten their fill and care no less for the hungry.

They have become loathesome princes, galloping in arrogance on the grounds on the poor.

They have become fat with belongings of the Most High.

Their souls love violence.

They have entrenched strange doctrines and made the heart of the faithful to faint.

They shoot bitter words like arrows at the blameless.

Their understanding has now become darkened.

Their knowledge has now become foolishness.

They walk in darkness and along slippery slopes.

Who will command justice for the stranger, the fatherless, and the desolate without taking a pledge?

Who will show us mercy without taking a bribe?

Arise o Most High!

Judge the earth with your tender mercies!

Save the poor and needy!

Save all our souls!

Revive your work in the midst of these days!

...

Arise o God and inherit Nigeria!

Be our Priority!

Be our Fear!

Be our Judge!

Be our Lawgiver!

Be our King!

Look upon Your heritage with mercy and examine our hearts and minds!

Breathe upon every fainting heart with Your salvation!

Remove the crutches and strengthen every feeble knee!

Help us to choose the love of You above wine!

Let the kingdoms of this world become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ!

Reign in us Sovereign Lord, reign in us!

Let Your word be our law, and Your wish be our command!

Let our portion be peace and restoration!

The New Nigeria shall prosper and be in wholesome health! Amen.
