Musings: Greedy Creed

It is never enough

Says the desolate womb

I have enough

Says the fruitful one

It is never enough

Says the ticking clock

I have enough

Says the retiring one

It is never enough

Says the roving eyes

I have enough

Says the visionary one

It is never enough

Says the youthful pride

I have enough

Says the humble one

It is never enough

Says the brown purse

I have enough

Says the green one

It is never enough

Says the thirsty mind

I have enough

Says the occupied one

It is never enough

Says the arrogant lead

I have enough

Says the unassuming one

It is never enough

Says the contentious rain

I have enough

Says the springing one

It is never enough

Says the teary gland

I have enough

Says the dry one

It is never enough

Says the sleepy dream

I have enough

Says the woken one

It is never enough

Says the shallow pond

I have enough

Says the oceanic one

It is never enough

Says the ambitious branch

I have enough

Says the abiding one

It is never enough

Says the foolish heart

I have enough

Says the inspired one

It is never enough

Says the empty plate

I have enough

Says the sumptuous one
