Beggars need to see

A beggar is a person who lives by habitually or occasionally asking for gifts. We could refer to a beggar as a pauper, who completely depends on outside help for survival.

Usually, beggars are reduced to a state of poverty or sentenced to the practice of asking for charity.

People may resort to begging when they seem to have reached the limit of  their resources or their abilities to create a meaningful livelihood for themselves.

As degrading as the status and outlook of a beggar is, most humans may have begged at some point in their life journey.

In any case, your beggarly state can help reveal prevailing attitudes among the community of people within which you beg.

There will be those who take a long smug look at you for your audacity to approach them for help, when they feel helpless themselves. They may likely disdain you for harassing them with your need and shut their doors to you without offering any encouragement. To them you have become a byword and a proverb.

Just pity their emotional bankruptcy and resolve to pay back with goodness whenever you have opportunity.

There will be those who wish they could help but do not have the resources to help. They may point you to other people or places for your required assistance.

Treasure the heart  attitude of such people and be thankful for the gift of such wise-hearted people on the earth.

There will be those who have so much to share that they are able to share part of their goodies with you, without much cajoling. You are the reason they have more than enough.

All beggars have a blind spot to their potential to secure a steady stream of income for themselves.

True beggars are egoless and epitomes of shameless persistence.
